Join us for this fun and creative workshop suitable for all levels. Embellish a coloured beret of your choosing with our vast selection of buttons. You will have an enjoyable afternoon with like minded people and take away your very own self styled wool beret to brighten up your winter look. This workshop is fantastic for someone with basic hand sewing skills who wants to get inspired to up-cycle and customise their clothes, hats, bags or anything they can get their hands on! A great pre-Christmas workshop with hot drinks, mince pies, and sewing fun!

A basic hand sewing kit including: needles, matching thread, and optional thimble

Materials:

A wool beret will be provided by your tutor Holly

Truro Fabrics will provide a range of buttons but feel free to dig into your button stash or select some from our amazing button wall!

About your tutor

Holly has had a love of hats from a young age and studied costume design at The London College of Fashion in 2003. She has worked in the millinery industry ever since and set up her own business in Cornwall in 2010. She specialises in making bespoke occasion wear hats and loves teaching this age old craft to other people.
